According to crypto analytics firm Santiment, the market cap of a privacy-focused blockchain project is experiencing a remarkable surge. Santiment reveals that Verge (XVG), an altcoin known for its privacy features, has seen its market cap more than triple in just two days, as bullish sentiment takes flight.
In a span of 48 hours, the market cap of Verge has soared by over 200% (+209%), making it the top trending asset in the crypto space, as per Santiment’s AI-powered bot. The tremendous surge in Verge’s market cap reflects the prevailing bullish sentiment, but caution is advised to avoid the fear of missing out (FOMO) effect.
Verge, aiming to provide a fast and efficient decentralized payments network that improves upon Bitcoin’s blockchain, currently holds a value of $0.00615, with a 27.4% decline in the past 24 hours. Initially reaching a local high of $144,577,725 on Monday, the market cap has now dipped to $101,616,789.
